An important update from Mucho Burrito

As we navigate through COVID-19, we want you to know that the health and safety of our guests, staff, and partners are our top priority.

We continue to implement the following ongoing health and safety procedures in our restaurants:

  • Proper and frequent sanitization of all frequently touched surfaces in guest areas
  • Proper and frequent sanitization of all equipment, utensils and surfaces in food preparation and service areas
  • Proper and frequent hand washing using soap and water
  • Use of gloves when handling food
  • Employees exhibiting any signs or symptoms of sickness are prohibited from working

In addition, as an increased precautionary measure we are temporarily modifying various service procedures to reduce touch-points and cross-contact. We have also recommended that our franchisees support
Health Canada, Provincial and Local agencies to close all in-restaurant dining and focus on delivery, pick-up and drive-thru where available.

Your safety is paramount and we will continue to monitor information and follow the guidelines from public health officials to help minimize any risk to our guests and employees and to help keep our community safe.

Thank you for your ongoing support and loyalty.

Sincerely,

The Mucho Burrito Team

BFF is closing until April

BFF is choosing people before profit, so if you are craving an excellent burger, you’ll have to go somewhere else.

You’ll find the explanations from CEO Jamil Bhuya below.

We’re closing all locations tentatively until April

Hey BFFs,

Today I have decided to make a very difficult decision in light of the rapidly evolving COVID-19 situation that is both unpredictable and unprecedented. While I take pride in being there for our hungry BFFs, I have to ensure the safety of those who are the lifeblood of BFF: our staff.

Even though the government has not mandated closing down take-out or delivery services, I feel it is not right to continue to put our staff at risk.

There is also the duty we have to the public and community by ensuring we collectively decrease the transmission of this virus.

Therefore, I have decided to close all of our remaining locations indefinitely until we control the spread of this virus. We will always choose people over profits.
